Finding Those Little Love Quotes

This past month has been insanely busy, both at work and at home. Don’t let anyone fool you: planning a wedding is exhausting! From making place cards to writing our ceremony script, planning this event has been both incredibly frustrating and wonderfully rewarding.

As I was researching different wedding scripts I kept getting distracting by all the little book quotations about love – which made it all the more enjoyable! I wanted to share some of my favourites and spread the love!

“I’ve never had a moment’s doubt. I love you. I believe in you completely.” – Ian McEwan “Atonement”

“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” – Emily Brontë “Wuthering Heights”

The Hobbit

“I am all the time thinking about poetry and fiction and you.” —Virginia Woolf

“Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl, and her laughter was a question he wanted to spend his whole life answering.” —Nicole Krauss “The History of Love”

Winnie the Pooh

“Perhaps, after all, romance did  not come into one’s life with pomp and blare, like a gay knight riding down; perhaps it crept to one’s side like an old friend through quiet ways; perhaps it revealed itself in seeming prose, until some sudden shaft of illumination flung athwart its pages betrayed the rhythm and the music; perhaps… perhaps love unfolded naturally out of a beautiful friendship, as a golden-hearted rose slipping from its green sheath.”
 – L. M. Montgomery “Anne of Avonlea”
